My they have big spoons in Holland. No wonder they're so tall!

Scheveningen

We had to go to The Hague so I could renew my Dutch passport and decided to stop by the beach in Scheveningen (try to pronounce that one!).

This is how cold the beach is in Holland in July. Okay not always, but that day it was cold and windy, very windy.

Any guesses as to what made these tracks in the sand?

That's rigtht, these are Savita tracks. This way if she ever takes off on the beach we can just track her.

Back Home

We made it home last night. Trip went well, except for the 13 month old boy who got hot noodles all over him during the Amsterdam - Japan flight. They sat next to us in the beginning and he was such a happy kid. That really must be one of your worst nightmares as a parent.

Slept in today until 2 pm and went for breakfast at Wild Bill's. Savita was a little overwhelmed by the waitresses who were happy to see her, she barely remembered them :)

Quick Update

We've been busy, no time to update. Belgium was fun. Luxemburg was nice. Saw Manneken Pis in Brussels. We're back in Zevenhoven and will start our journey back tomorrow. We will have to do some last minute shopping tomorrow before we go; liqorice and cheese.

The weather is nice at the moment, hot almost. Here's Savita in a wonderful bohemian outfit selected by her mother. I had nothing to do with it! Love the combination!

We're back in Saipan on Wed morning. I will try to update the site with some euro pictures for everybody.

In Nederland

Bij Opa en Omi thuis. Moet wel een hoop kleren aan omdat het hier vrij fris is. At Opa and Omi's place. I have to wear a lot of clothes because it is chilly here.

De onderzettertjes van Omi smaken net zoals die bij ons thuis. Omi's coasters taste just as good as ours.

Stoere Neef

Garden Pictures

Speciaal voor Tante Loes een paar foto's van een stukje van de tuin in Saipan (die zaten nog op het foto toestel). Als we terug zijn zullen we ook eens een fotootje van de omgeving hier en daar er tussen proberen te zetten.

Made it!

We made it. Another long trip, but we made it. It's cold for Saipan standards, warm for Dutch standards. We pretty much saw all of the extended family this weekend, so now we can just relax and enjoy Holland. Today is a rest day, tomorrow we will most likely go to The Hague to get some paperwork taken care off and then it is off to the beach in Scheveningen (Try to pronounce that one!). Friday we're leaving for Belgium for a week. We'll probably swing by Brussels to see Manneke Pis.

King Kong

Savita is getting so big she reminds me of King Kong at times.
