Savita stills says the darnest things.

Savita in the car right after we had dinner: 'I would like a sandwich when we get home.'
Me: 'You should have eaten more while we were at the restaurant.'
Savita: 'I still want to eat more.'
Me: 'You can have a dry piece of bread when we get home.'
Savita: 'I want mine wet, with peanutbutter.'

On her new tire swing, Savita: 'Can you push me papa, a big one.'
Me: 'Hold on here you go.'
Savita: 'That's not big that's tiny.'

Savita noticing Moshe's and my toothbrushes on the edge of the tub. With a little sigh and picking up our toothbrushes to put them in the right place; 'You GUYS need to clean up after yourself.'

The good old trusted dog who spends a whole lot more time outside and at the neighbors nowadays.

Savita says the darnest things continued

Savita: 'Papa, I want a cookie.'
Me: 'I don't like you asking for cookies.'
Savita: 'Papa, may I please have a cookie.'
Me: 'No, you asked very nicely, but I don't like you asking for cookies. Besides, it will make you fat.'
Savita: 'I WANT to be fat.'

Savita after I moved her chair an inch in the bathroom: '(indistinct)...moved it there for a reason.'
Me: 'Excuse me?'
Savita: 'Mama moved it there for a reason.'
Me: 'Well, I moved it for a reason too, but if it is bothering you you can always move it back.'
Savita noticing I left some hair in the sink after shaving: 'Heeeeey, you made a mess!'

One/Een

It is hard to imagine, but our little man is 1 year old. We tried to sing for him and have him blow out the candle, but he managed to grab the burning candle and a handful of cake instead. Paired with the blue icing on the cake this made for a good combination. His #1 hat was made for him by his cousins.
