There happened to be a turtle hatching on Father's Day so we decided to hike down to Bird Island to see it. Savita hiked the whole way down and back up by herself. Moshe was more than happy with letting me carry him down, but once down there he was all over the place, climbing trees and digging in the sand with a stick. The turtles were fun to watch and the kids expressions were priceless. Savita got to hold one and Mosh did pet one, but he was trying to hold it by its head the whole time. The second picture will most likely be on the cover of a magazine next month.

Turtle Nesting Last Night

Darnest things!
No pictures unfortunately, but here's what they're talking about:
Savita is talking a lot about her birthday these days, about what she wants, the kind of cake she likes, who will be invited, etc. I finally had enough of listening to it and told her: "We will cross that bridge when we get there, Savita." Savita: "We are almost crossing that bridge papa!"
I gave Moshe two pieces of chicken at the restaurant. Moshe: "I want THREE pieces papa".
This again involves chicken. I gave Moshe the last piece of fried chicken today.
Moshe: "Where is my two?"
Me: "There is only one piece left Mosh"
Moshe: "Where is my two?"
Me: "You have had like four pieces already, man!"
Moshe: "Papa is a man, Moshe is a boy!"
Savita likes to bug her brother and Moshe was telling her: "Stop, Savita".
Me: "Savita, your brother is asking you to stop, can you please respect his wishes?"
Savita: "Moshe doesn't respect my wishes".
Moshe: "Awesome!"
Thu: "So and so was born in September"
Savita: "We both have our birthday in September?"
Thu: "Yes, So and so was born on the same day as you".
Savita: "Isn't that amazing?"
